Because I am a heavy equipment operator and work outside in the rain , snow, heat , cold and wind , I wear a body worn hearing aid when I work , I think I am the only person in the world that wears one of these , if you do let me know , The person that fit me with my hearing aids tells me there are only three companies that still make these , the one I have now is about a year old . To be honest , I hear just as well if not better with a body aid as I do with my behind the ear aids at a quater of the cost , let me know what you think .

Hi , Katie and thank you for your comment . It is not a comfort think , Hearing aids can not be exposed to the elements , rain , heat , moisture , dust , dirt , cold , etc , for a long period of time , a body aid is very rugged and takes those conditions better than a behind the ear aid , most of the time after work , I wear my behind the ear aids . thank you for your comments , and you are a "Cutie" ,.

Personally in your field of work I think you might be more comfortable with a behind the ear. But then, what do you know? Smile>
